On October 28, 2020 the A6 Intruder was transported from the Penn College Aviation Center at the Williamsport Regional Airport in Montoursville to the Lycoming County Veterans Memorial Park in Williamsport.
Allison Crane and Rigging provided the crane lifting, loading and unloading the A6 on and off the trailer. High Steel, LLC and High Transport LLC, did the heavy hauling of the A6 from the airport to the Veterans Park, while X-5-0 Pilot Car Services provided flag escort.
The transport took about 13 months to work through the logistics of getting it out of the airport and to the park. Due to its size, it was classified as a "super load" and required PENNDOT permits and State Police escort.
Over the course of the next 4 years, the Intruder was prepared for static display and dedicated on June 15, 2024. The Pilot, Bombardier/Navigator and Plane Captain of Warhorse 503 were all in attendance for the dedication ceremony held at the park.
